Thinking of Moving to the City of Maricopa, AZ?

Where is the city of Maricopa?

The city of Maricopa is located in Pinal county, which is roughly 5,374 mi². Pinal county neighbors Maricopa county and Pima County. The city of Maricopa is nestled between Indian reservations and the city of Casa Grande and Phoenix, creating a desert island effect. Rocky Point, Mexico, is roughly three and a half hours away, and San Diego, California, is approximately five hours away. In addition, Sedona is nearly three hours away, and Phoenix Sky Harbor airport is about 45 minutes away. This makes the city of Maricopa attractive to many home buyers and central to many vital points.

Things To Know About the City of Maricopa, AZ

One of my favorite thoughts about Maricopa is the small-town feel. The city regularly organizes events for the locals, and the locals are actively involved with each other. Some things are Chili Cookoffs, Holiday events, Music, and more. At the same time, there are youth sports and adult pickup games. Then there are food trucks, and my favorite place to eat is a must-visit and experience, Raceway Bar and Grill. The food is terrific, and the atmosphere is one to write home about. It is a fun place for people of all ages.

Maricopa has a small hospital, medical offices, dental offices, and many restaurants and shopping places. It also has a Casino, hotels, bowling alley, movie theater, and much more on the neighboring reservation. Then if anything is missing, you are just a hop, jump, and skip away from Casa Grande and Phoenix for additional medical, restaurants, shopping, and fun things to do.
